A Rare Longquan Celadon Washer, (Ming Dynasty 1368-1644), of slightly compressed globular form with moulded and applied bats and a double-gourd on the vine to the body, with crackled greyish-blue glazes with undercurrents of pale, café-au-lait brown, 6cm high x 9.5cm diameter, with old insribed paper labels to underside. (10mm firing crack on rim and 20mm perpendicular hairline crack at rim), on carved and pierced wooden stand baring inscribed paper label.
