Ruth Yeoman was born in North Yorkshire on 29th October 1897 to Harry, a Linen Manufacturer and Margaret Elizabeth Yeoman. She was baptised on the 4th December 1897 in Brompton. She had a brother Cdr Antony Yeoman RN. She died in 1994 and is buried with her mother and brother in St Thomas Churchyard Brompton. She served with the WVS in World War II and after the war was a missionary in Canada.
