A late 18th century inlaid oak and mahogany eight day longcase clock by G. Stephenson of Warminster, the bell strike movement fronted by a painted arched Arabic dial, with rocking ship panel to arch, painted floral and gilt spandrels, arched date aperture and subsidiary seconds dial, the case with broken arch cornice on turned Corinthian columns, the trunk with tulipwood and boxwood and feather banded kite decoration, within feather banded canted corners, on a plinth base, 84¼in. (214cm.) high.
