A FINE LIMITED EDITION DISPLAY SWORD, contained in a handmade display case commemorating the 50th Anniversary of 'Operation Overlord / Neptune', 'D-Day 6th June 1944', the sword was produced circa 1994 by Wilkinson Sword and is numbered '130', the blade is double edged and approximate length 86cm, the gilt blade is filled with Battle Honours Unit badges etc, the large ornate gilt grip has the enamel crest of SHAEF (Supreme HQ Allied Expeditionary Forces) inlaid, the handmade case made for wall display has been extremely well constructed and sets off this piece
