'The Last Dying Speech & Confession of John Rowe,' 'Who was Executed at the New Drop at Launceston, on Tuesday the 20th of August 1818, for Sheep Stealing. With a striking copy of verses on his Life and Death, as a warning to all, both readers and hearers,' a large 4to sheet, 283mm x 188mm, two small burn holes to an otherwise fine survivor, contemporary signature to title, Brougham, Printer, Bookbinder, &c, Falmouth, [1818]. Boase's 'Collectanea Cornubiensia' references his execution at Bodmin in 1818 (Col.1378), but gives no source for this statement, and doesn't mention this broadsheet. Boase also dates Rowe as aged '41' ath the time of his execution, which is not mentioned in this broadsheet.
