A GEORGIAN MOURNING RING, wide band approximate width 10.0mm, with a plain polished centre between two rows of split pearls, the front has a vacant oval centre piece with a surround of split pearls, the inside of the band has a personal inscription which reads 'J.Jones died 26 May 1814 aged 33', gold unmarked, ring size centre N, approximate gross weight 5.3 grams (condition report: the centre of the band is missing the hair, three split pearls are missing from the surround, overall condition fair to good)
