The ship's bell from the Royal Navy Blackwood-class anti-submarine frigate HMS 'Malcolm': the 12 inch bell with black painted crown suspension over body with red filled incised text and date '1957' to one side and broad arrow mark to the other, with original clapper and rope pull, 32cm high, later mounted on a teak square section stand, overall size 95 x 46 x 40cm. *Notes- Commissioned in December 1957 she was the second ship to bear the name after Admiral Pulteney Malcolm, who served during the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars. She carried out most of her duties as part of the Fishery Patrol squadron during the North Atlantic Cod Wars during the late 1960s early 1970s.
