A French Model 1822 Heavy Cavalry of the Line trooper’s sword, dated 1839. With iron scabbard, the steel blade’s back edge inscribed ‘Manuf re R ale de Châtellerault Avril 1839’ and the D guard struck with marks and numbered 130. 116.3 cm total length.
Condition report: Some are related wear. Rope twisted wire to grip with losses as illustrated.
