Various silver pre-decimal coinage and other coins, including10 brilliant uncirculated Royal Mint cased coin sets from 1972-1982 (but excluding 1977). This lot includes a box of various 18th, 19th and 20th century British coins, from non-precious crowns to farthings (some lustrous) as well as £1 2shillings face value of pre-1920 silver coinage, such as an 1873 collectable shilling; and more than £4 12 shillings of pre-1946 silver, such as a VF 1934 halfcrown, a harder date to find in better grades. This lot also has a silver medal (see last 2 photos) commemorating the 1,200th anniversary of the foundation of Paderborn in 1977, which features on the obverse a ¾ length figure of Charlemagne, holding a sword and orb. Also included are two boxed 1951 Festival of Britain crowns, a Philip and Elizabeth £5 coin, 1689-1989 Bill of Rights Tercentenary £2 coin, a 1986 Commonwealth Games £2, a Royal Mint LSD 1967 coin set and non-precious jewellery items and a nice example of Spode enamel.
