A 19th Century Sharps & Hankins .32 (short rimfire) Model 3B, Patent Four-Shot Derringer Pistol, with quarter-foil sliding 88mm barrel block, the top stamped 'Sharps and Hankins, Philladelphia, Penn. side of frame stamped "C. SHARPS PATENT JAN 25 1859." Frame and barrel with matching numbers 3488, with two-piece smooth composition grips, black finish.
