A small group of Coalport, late 19th and early 20th century comprising a pair of circular plates, circa 1870-80, the yellow grounds painted with butterflies, pink flowers and foliage, 15.3cm diameter; a near pair of miniature baluster vases, circa 1885, the pale green and white grounds painted with butterflies, pink flowers and foliage and a bee, a dragonfly with green foliage and strawberries, printed factory mark in green; a bowl, circa 1870-80, the bright yellow ground decorated with slightly raised green foliage and butterflies, gilt dentil rim, brown printed 'Salopian' mark, 15cm diameter and a hexagonal cabinet plate, circa 1885, of canted form, nicely painted to the centre with a bunch of flowers, the black border moulded with white dots and flowerheads, green printed factory mark, numbered X217 in gilt, 21cm wide (6) Provenance: Ivor Southorn Collection.
