An 1899 pattern cavalry trooper's sword of the Sussex Yeomanry, blade 33½" with date stamps for '99 and '01, the guard stamped "12/14 Sx.Y.136" (indistinct), in its steel scabbard, the throat mount stamped "MOLE" and Government sale mark. GC (hilt lightly pitted, the grips worn). £300-400
