The artist studied at the Heatherley School of Art and later at the Grosvenor School of Art where she as taught by Iain Macnab and Claude Flight. In 1927 she began exhibiting with the Women’s International Art Club. During the 1930’s she undertook a number of sculptures, producing a number of stonework panels for Public Buildings in London. Examples of her work are in the Tate Gallery, London
