THREE UNATTRIBUTED NINETEENTH CENTURY BUFF GLAZED AND RELIEF MOULDED POTTERY JUGS, comprising: ONE MOULDED WITH EQUESTRIAN MILITARY FIGURES, ANOTHER WITH A STAG AND BOAR HUNT, and the last MOULDED WITH FOLIATE SCROLL PANELS BENEATH A PAIR OF GRIFFINS TO THE NECK, ‘CANOVA’, together with a DARKER GLAZED JUG MOULDED WITH FALSTAFF, 9 ½” (24.1cm) high and smaller, (4)
C/R- the equestrian jug with cracks to the top of the handle, possibly re-glued? And two chips to the footrim, the hunting jug with two chips to the rim and a fine firing crack to the tip of the spout, Canova jug with crazing to the interior, the Falstaff jug with a small chip to the side of the spout and a chip to the footrim beneath the spout
