A large quantity of postcard-size images in good condition of mainly trams but also buses from England, Scotland and Wales – with some foreign. See photo to see the box containing all the packets of cards/images. Most of the images are plain-backed with descriptions of the vehicles involved and their locations. A high proportion are on postcard-quality card – the others are on photographic paper. There are a few postcards included in the lot – including the ones of the bus terminal at Eastbourne (photographed) and the selection from Leeds (nearly all postcards). But the vast majority are plain-backed with the location written on the back in pencil. This lot has a packet of 12 Portsmouth tram/bus images (photographed), a good number from Southampton (some photographed) and particularly Leeds. The many other areas to feature include Edinburgh, Blackpool, Sheffield, Newcastle, Aldershot, Brighton, Birmingham, Grimsby, Llandudno - and there a number of packets with European tramcars, including Spain, Holland and France. An impressive selection.
