Millicent Jane Taplin special commission large vase signed and dated 1922 with Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire Latin motto & a coat of arms. Though Taplin worked for Wedgwood for much of her working life, starting in 1917, this piece is thought to be from her time studying at the Stoke School of Art whilst employed by Wedgwood. Height 37cm, marked M J Taplin Stoke 1922 to base.
