An extremely rare Tibet Medal 1903-04 in silver, with clasp ‘Gyantse’, named to: 673 Carpenter Pir Mohamed 6th Mule Corps. The various Mule Corps provided the logistic support for Colonel Francis Young husband’s expedition to Llasa to obtain redress from the Dalai Lama for perceived wrongs, and other political objectives. Suspender swivel slightly
loose, as is usual with this medal, otherwise Very Fine (VF).
