A pair of Japanese earthenware Satsuma decorated moon flasks - early 20th century, painted and enamelled with birds and butterflies in flight above flowers, the sides with enamelled butterflies on a shaded ochre ground, the flared neck and flared oval foot painted with floral rondels and diaper work in colours and gilt, the base with black painted and impressed marks, 18.8cm high.
* In good condition, with no chips, cracks or restoration. A little minor gilt wear and some glaze crazing throughout.
