A nameplate, PEBBLE MILL, from a BR Class 86 electric locomotive No E3135 built by BR Doncaster in January 1966 for the West Coast Main Line, renumbered 86 040 in November 1973 and 86 256 in March 1975. Named to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the BBC centre in Birmingham, it retained this name until the locomotive was withdrawn in October 2002 and cut up by Ron Hull Junior at Rotherham in March 2006. Cast aluminium, length 45½", in ex loco condition. (Dispatch by Mailboxes/Collect from Banbury Depot)
