£60
A Royal Crown Derby style oil lamp, 20th century, the Young's Duplex burner set to a porcelain footed cylindrical body decorated in an Imari pattern, raised on a turned oak base, with associated chimney and shade, 63cm high overall (at fault)
The piece shows rubbing to the gilt highlights and surface wear throughout, particularly on the shoulders of the reservoir. The body also shows extensive surface crazing. The reservoir appears to be sound, but has not been tested for leaks. The burner clips are both present and functional. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS PIECE IS BEING SOLD AS A DECORATIVE OBJECT ONLY. WE STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST ITS USE AS A FUNCTIONAL OIL LAMP.
