A French late-Victorian Cherub-on-Swing marble clock with a two-plane side escapement to allow for the swing, the skeletonised dial having a white chapter ring with black Roman numerals and blued-steel moon hands, the eight-day duration movement stamped to the rear Echappement Brevete with the shaped white marble case having bulbous pillars between which the pendulum depicts a gilt spelter cherub on a swing, height 30cm.
