PORT LOUIS BLUE/RED CRAYON DUE MARKS ON MAIL EX INDIA (FORERUNNERS OF THE BLUE "TO PAY" NUMERALS); Similar group of 1862/63 envs. (6; all with some sellotape stains from reverse) to this same Port Louis addressee (Higginson) ex Jaulna/Madras/Mominabad each franked by India 4as Grey tied by ms "Stamped" plus dotted diamond numerals, all endorsed "Via Bombay" and/or "Via Aden" with INDIA/PAID marks. All charged Postage Due on arrival in Mauritius and so with red crayon "6d" charges; all also having red ms "4" Accountancy Marks (credits to GB).
