SIX NINETEENTH CENTURY POTTERY JUGS, comprising: a PROBABLY DOULTON SALT GLAZED EXAMPLE, APPLIED IN WHITE WITH EGYPTIAN FIGURES, TWO COPPER LUSTRE EXAMPLES, PLATINUM LUSTRE MILK JUG, ANOTHER, DECORATED WITH BIRDS AND FOLIAGE and the last IN WHITE WITH REDDISH BROWN BANDED NECK, MOULDED WITH LEAVES, 5 ½” (14cm) high and smaller, (6)
C/R- the Egyptian jug with minor firing cracks to the base of the handle and very minor chips and nibbles to the footrim, the smaller copper lustre jug with handle re-glued, the milk jug with small rim chips to the spout, the birds and foliage jug with a hairline to the rim and rubbing, the last jug with two small chips beneath the spout and rubbing to the painted border and handle
