Imperial German Seitengewehr M1898/05 Butcher Bayonet


14 1/2 inch, single edged blade widening towards the point. Wide fuller.  Forte with crowned "Amberg" and "F. Herder ASN Solingen".  Back edge dated "16".  Steel, turn up crossguard.  Steel pommel with Acceptance stamps.  Grooved, wooden slab grips with large oil hole.  Contained in its steel scabbard.
