A collection of lettersheets, postcards, original photographs and envelopes from a variety of Colditz prisoners of war including Captain Julius Morris Green, TD of the Army Dental Corps (MI9 Spy in Colditz Oflag IVc), Squadron Leader Charles Edward Stuart "Lucky" Lockett, Captain Micky Burn (St Nazaire Raid), Captain Kenneth Lockwood (first escape attempt of WW2 along with Pat Reid), Lieutenant Colonel David Stayner (Later SBO in Colditz), Polish Officer Lieutenant Adamowicz (first prisoner at Colditz Oflag IVC) including various other British and British Commonwealth POW'S as well as other postcards and lettersheets written by officers from the different nationalities at Colditz including Polish, French, Belgian and Dutch prisoners of war.
Squadron Leader "Lucky" Lockett was part of the team who built the "Colditz Cock", the glider which was built in the attic and was planned as an escape attempt.
