An early Scottish provincial Oak Platter, a charming late 18th or early 19th century Scottish oak platter with good patina, attractive burr and nicely figured grain, the platter is in circular form with knife marks to the rim.two concentric incised bands define the form towards a graduated sunken centre. To the underside, there are two incised bands on the tapered edge towards the flat, round base, 4 cm (1.6"), 28.5 cm (11.2")
