Six Derby old imari cups and saucers, circa 1800-25, the pattern akin to 6299, painted red baton marks (12)
Some are finely crazed and slightly discoloured; those that are sound dull when tapped. On inspection with a 10x loupe perhaps only one saucer is showing perhaps two fine hair cracks, although these do not exhibit on the inside. Again the cups are similar; with those that are finely crazed sounding dull when tapped but no hair cracks have been found. There is minor rubbing to the rims and contact abrasion to the centres of the saucers but this is only light. Four of the saucers have rubbing to the gilt rim.
