Royal Naval WWII Interest: a collection of black and white photographs taken on or from HMS Rajah during escort convoy between 1943-45, 37 images of planes on the flight deck, 57 of crew and animals, 20 place, 32 ships, mostly (3 3/4 x4 3/4in) HMS Rajah (D10) was an American built escort aircraft carrier, laid down on 17 December 1942 by the Seattle-Tacoma Shipbuilding Corporation. She was named USS Prince on 13 November 1942 and launched on 18 May 1943 transferred to the United Kingdom 17 October 1943.
