A rare Icon of "Madonna and Child" in possibly a ceramic and relief within a frame of tiny beadwork surrounded by intricate silk leaves and flowers, also framed by tiny beadwork within an oak/gilded glazed frame with a gilt wood rococo finial (top piece missing) this has not be removed from its frame for closer inspection. some old woodworm holes in oak frame and some tiny holes within the fabric. Possibly C 17/18. 29 x 25 cm excluding frame
