Railway. A good assortment of approx. 290 x 35mm, colour slides, housed in 3 storage cases. The majority of the slides are Gepe plastic remounts and the remainder are on Agfa film stock.
Dating mostly from the 1970's with several from the 1960's, the selection includes a good variety of preserved steam, a few BR steam and industrials at many different lines in the U.K.
Of interest are 5 slides with BR steam at Rugby Central and Bromsgrove in 1963 as well as several industrial workings at Kettering Furnaces, Harbury Cement, Pitts Yard and Oxfordshire Iron in 1962. The preserved steam are mainly on narrow gauge lines such as: Vale of Rheidol 1962, Snowdon Mountain 1962, Dart Valley 1968, Fairbourne Railway, Bressingham 1969, Ffestiniog Railway 1972 and Lakeside 1972. There are also some slides of Leicester Museum locomotives and the Severn Valley Railway in 1972. Most/all have basic captions. The copyright will pass to the buyer. Sample illustrated.
