A late regency, possibly colonial Indian rosewood hoop-backed armchair and "X" framed Indian rosewood footstool, the chair with carved scroll crest to the horseshoe back with turned bobbing gallery back and cluster column supports, the stool with lotus caped frame and rosette boss, both upholstered in faux leopard skin velour. 54 cm overall width x 61 cm overall depth x 84 cm overall height, 42 cm height to the cushion top, (dimensions of the chair) Signs of old repair but structurally good and of clean and tidy appearance.
