Note: The location of this painting is thought to be the caves off Polperro Harbour. Wagner visited Polperro in 1910 and his wonderful painting Low Tide Work, Polperro (RA 10) is exhibited in Gallery Oldham, Manchester.
This appears to be in good, unrestored, clean condition. The canvas is uncockled and tightly stretched. The stretches themselves are in good condition. The frame has a little repair and a small amount of cracking to the surface (please see additional images), but nothing unstable.
