Reads below crossed flags in Red ; CONGRATULATIONS YOUR GOING TO WAR ! . Name in the centre reads EIGUCHI TOYOJIRO. Left side reads ; HIROKA NAKAGAWA JINEMON. Who gifted the flag to EIGUCHI , the son of a wealthy doctors family. Likely NAKAGAWA was a very close friend of EIGUCHI. These flags were costly gifts & reflected the status of the recipient & those that gifted the flag. This rare collection contained four of these nostalgic flags all lovingly preserved, one of which is offered here. Minty like condition is very rare.
