A 19th century circa 1839 French Sevres Louis Philippe fine bone china porcelain lilac and gilt cup and saucer. The cup with a high round handle, gilt rim and ribbon moulded body with lilac background. Gilt laurel leave band inside the cup. With a matching saucer featuring gilt sunburst motif in the centre. Marked in blue circle containing ‘LP’ & SEVRES, dated 1839 to the base. Cup measures approx. 12cm wide including handle, 5.5cm tall, saucer approx. 14cm in diameter.
