A 1/8 scale precision display model Lotus Elan, formerly owned by Ron Hickman, designer of the Lotus Elan and inventor of the Black and Decker Workmate, model made by Diamond Cars from over 170 hand cast metal parts, yellow bodywork made of glass fibre like the original cars, retractable front lights, in a Perspex case with a wooden base with advertising notice giving details of the model headed "Ron Hickman's unique Lotus Elan 1/8th scale", model 19 x 15.2 x 14cm. high, case 59.7 x 28.2 x 21.6cm. high. *This display model originally cost 930 and was also available with electric drive and remote control.
