An Impressive Collection tracing the life of Major A.T.G.Holmes, The Kings Royal Rifle Corp from around the early 1930’s. After studying at Eton and becoming Captain of the School, going to Cambridge and back to Eton as a ‘Master', achieving exemplary sporting and academic achievements by 1939, ‘Holmes' joined the 2nd Battalion in July 1940 at age 26. November 1943 in Italy he was officially presumed dead.
