John (Augustus, 1878-1961). An original manuscript letter, signed by Augustus John, dated 11th February 1954, letter talks about how he is still working overtime for an exhibition in March and he gives his apologies for the lateness of the letter, 13.5cm x 17.5cm approx., letter tipped-in onto card for display purposes. John was a painter, draughtsman and etcher.
