A mid-20th century platinum graduated 5-stone diamond ring, bezel set with old European cut diamonds, total diamond content approx 2.2ct, principal diamond approx 0.8ct, colour approx J-M, clarity approx SI2-I2, setting height 6.3mm, size M, 3.8g
All stones present, diamonds are bright and fiery with a slight yellow tint, all have a few internal fractures and black spot inclusions along with all having surface chips, some of the inclusions are visible without a loupe, settings are quite worn with obvious solder joins on the shoulders and a concealed join mark on the shank which is also worn, mark clear, stamped PLAT.
