A pair of Chinese porcelain famille verte porcelain plates, 19th century in the Kangxi style, each circular plate with scalloped rim centrally decorated with exotic birds, flora and fauna, the undersides with three floral sprays, 27.5 cm diameter (2 (At fault)

Plate 1 - Area to the rim of the plate which appear to have been scorched or over-fired. Pitting can be seen to both sides. Some gilt wear to the rim. Some general scratching to the surfaces. Unglazed dirtied foot rim.
Plate 2 - Old dirtied chip to the foot rim. Section to the underside of the rim with glaze chipping exposing the porcelain body. Small chip to the rim, Gilt wear, pitting and surface scratching and staining.
