AN EARLY 20TH CENTURY OAK EIGHT DAY CHIMING LONGCASE CLOCK, the hood with an elaborate swan neck pediment flanking a finial, below is signed with initials 'W.D. 1902' above a carved mask, two fretwork doors to both sides of hood, carved columns flanking a glazed door enclosing a brass and silvered 11inch dial, the movement with bell and tube strikers, roman and Arabic numerals, seconds and date dials, singed above date dial 'William Evans', surrounded by foliate and acorn spandrels, the trunk with matching columns flanking a bowfront carved door, above a carved panel and wavy plinth, height 243cm (brass pendulum, two weights, winding key)
