Early 1827 Pattern Royal Navy Officer's Pipe Back Sword


29 1/4 inch, single edged, pipe back, quill point blade.  Etched crowned anchor and crowned royal motto over lion.  Gilt brass guard with folding rear panel.  Victorian fouled anchor cartouche. Lion mask pommel with plain backstrap.  Shagreen covered grip with twist wire binding.  Contained in its early pattern leather scabbard with gilt brass chape and throat mounts.  This with two loose hanging rings.  Complete with gilt tasselled sword knot.
