Third Reich Luftwaffe first type officer's sword and scabbard by Solinger Metallwaren-Fabrik, maker's mark to blade king holding sword seated over SMF with Solingen below, sunwheel swastika pommel with oak leaf engraving to rim, blue leather washer, feathered crossguard with central swastika, blue leather wire bound grip, blue leather scabbard, some light discolouration to some metal parts, some wear to leather grip and minor wear to patches of scabbard. Also one side of scabbard with white flecks (possibly paint), minor fold in sword tip, otherwise blade is excellent. With detached blue leather scabbard hanger and 1943 Luftwaffe Diary which includes plane identification details, Knight's Cross holders with dates, formations, tables etc. BUYER MUST COLLECT.
