Richard Godfrey (British, 1949-2014): a studio pottery ceramic bowl, circa 1980’s, the deep well with spiral moulded centre, wide fluted sides leading to a black rim, decorated in a graduating red to purple speckle glaze, with two sprays of red and black berries with green leaves and a section of black and white checkerboard to rim, the outside in an Art Deco style graduating peach to purple to peach speckle glaze with three relief bands, crackleure all over, inscribed signature to base, 27.5 by 10cm.
