SHIPPING - PASSENGER STEAMSHIPS: A large album containing an ex-dealer's stock of better quality, mainly ocean-going passenger steamship cards inc. real photo types, 1900s-early 1950s (mostly 1910s-1940s). The majority are unused, a small number with advertising content and c.50 with undivided backs (some posted). Much of interest inc. cards less commonly offered e.g. a few early examples of Hamburg-Amerika Line, American Line U.S Mail Steamers, Clyde Steamers etc. Many cards showing ships from the Red Star Line, White Star Line, and P&O fleets but also Cunard and Allan Line plus numerous smaller operators.
