Austro-Hungarian School, late 19th/early 20th c - World Map, longitudinally divided into the Western and Eastern Hemispheres, with galleons and compasses, the borders with a pair of celestial spheres, each sky map with their respective signs of the Zodiac, within black Renaissance Revival borders of scrolling foliage, the four corners with illuminated coats of arms and inscribed with Czech and Slovak cities and towns, feigned trellis border, watercolour, gouache and pen-and-ink on parchment, picked-out in gilt, subsequently rebacked, 35.5 x 48cm
