A worksplate, BEYER PEACOCK, 7697, 1954, from a Rhodesia Railways 3ft 6ins gauge 20th Class 4-8-2+2-8-4 Beyer Garratt No 712. It was handed to Zambia Railways in 1967 and the class were withdrawn from general service by about 1970. Cast brass, 10½x6½", the front repainted, service knocks in places. (Postage Band: B)
