A large Victorian black painted wrought iron weather vane, surmounted with a running hound, with indicators for wind direction and scroll support, H.8ft 4in.
CONDITION: Overall fair condition for age, black paint looks to be fairly recent though there are one or two small areas of rusting showing, the hound at the top looks to be in good order, although has seen rusting at the lower left section beneath the black feet, points of the compass indicators are somewhat bent out of shape with the top right of West now missing, main frame has one small sprung section near the base held in place with tie clips but otherwise is in good order.
