A collection of Staffordshire dogs, circa 1860, to include apair of seated Staffordshire spaniels, white enamel painted with russet patches and gilt collars, 18.5cm high, together with a white glazed poodle figure group with gilt collars, modelled as a seated mother with her reclining puppies, mounted on a cobalt blue base, 20cm high, and a white bearded collie modelled seated against a fence on a naturalistic polychrome glaze painted base, 17.5cm high (4).
