An African Berber Kabyle silver, coral and enamel bangle and earring/ring. The traditional Kabyle silver and enamel bangle set with six round cabochons of coral with floral design metalwork inlaid with enamel to metal beadwork. Hinge mechanism soldered shut. A matching Berber Kabyle silver ring/earring set with a single coral cabochon with metal beadwork and metalwork inlaid with coloured enamel to open silver hook. Both unmarked, however surface tests indicate silver. Bangle measures 7cm diameter, 2.2cm width. Ring/earring size K.5, 3cm x 2.1cm. Total weight 59.0g. All weights, measurements and sizes are approximate.
