A 19th century Scott of London brass lantern clock, the Roman numeral chapter ring bordering a central subsidiary seconds dial, with a later made wall bracket, rope,, 16cm wide by 38cm high. Provenance: The selection of clocks within this auction comes from a local private deceased estate who began collecting around 30 to 35 years ago. During the time the clocks have been within their possession they have been well looked after and maintained and serviced by either the vendor or Robert Loomes. Condition reports can be provided upon request. The clock does not have any weights and is untested. We have not had the clock working but there are extra photos of the mechanism. The bell is somewhat pitted and scratched, and there are further surface scratches throughout - hence wear commensurate with age. The finials are possibly from an Edwardian replica and the bell stand looks to be a replacement.
